What is my responsibility when purchasing a MOTORCYCLE mechanical warranty?

You must have your motorcycle serviced in order to ensure your motorcycle is in optimum running condition and if also help to identify and correct potential mechanical failure before it occurs.

If your motorcycle has a full service history it must continue to be serviced and maintained as per the manufacturer's specifications.

If your motorcycle at time of purchase of this warranty, does not have full-service history the motorcycle must be serviced within 30 days from date of purchase of this plan and your service history must be brought up to date. This means that if a major service such as a cambelt service has been missed, this service must be completed.

Thereafter the motorcycle must be serviced as per the manufacturer's recommendation, which is typically annually or after the motorcycle has travelled a specified number of kilometres or when instructed to do so.

You must service your motorcycle at a manufacturer appointed Franchised or a RMI (Retail Motor Industry) registered franchise.

All documentation regarding service of the motorcycle is to be retained.
