Claims procedure

Report the Event:

All claims must be reported to us on
021 300 2154 within 5 working days of the incident or breakdown.

Get a Quote for the Vehicle:

Please take the customer’s vehicle for a quote. If you're unsure where to take it, feel free to reach out to our claims department for guidance.
a) If the vehicle is still under the Original Manufacturer Warranty, it must be taken to a Manufacturer-appointed Franchised Dealer.
b) For all other cases, the vehicle must be taken to an RMI (Retail Motor Industry) registered facility.

Submit the Quote:

The repairing dealer should submit the quote to our claims department.

Claim Validation:

Once we receive the quote, our claims department will review it to determine if the claim is valid.

If the claim is approved, we will issue an authorisation number and the authorised amount.

Authorisation Required Before Repairs:

Repairs cannot begin until the claims department has provided authorisation.

No Work Before Authorisation:

Claims will not be considered if repairs have already started before receiving authorisation.

Valid Invoices Only:

We will only pay invoices that meet the SARS definition of a valid invoice.

Covering the Shortfall:

We only pay the authorised amount. If the invoice exceeds the authorised amount, the shortfall will be the responsibility of the customer.

Claim Expiry:

If repairs on an authorised claim do not start within 90 days of authorisation, the claim will be closed as “Not taken up.”
